About Oops Insurance

Oops Insurance is a trading style of Oops Insurance Services Limited. Oops Insurance Services Limited is an Appointed Representative of ES Risks Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. FCA Register Number 565023.

Our permitted business is advising and arranging deals in non-investment insurance contracts.

When arranging insurance Oops Insurance acts as an insurance intermediary.

When we arrange insurance for you, we act on your behalf.

The gadget insurance we provide you with is an information only service; therefore, you will not receive any advice or a recommendation from us.


Products we offer

For Gadget Insurance we offer products from Policy Excess Insure Limited and Bastion Insurance Company Limited on behalf of Inter Partner SA UK Branch (IPA) which is fully owen by AXA Partners Group.


What you will pay for our services

For Gadget Insurance we will not charge a fee for providing the insurance.

We may charge the following fees:

If you cancel your policy within 14 of the date of purchase fee you will not be charged a cancellation fee and will receive a full refund. If you cancel your policy after 14 days from the date of purchase you may be charged a fee of £25.00.

If you wish to amend your policy we may charge a mid-term adjustment fee of £10.00.

If you choose to pay your annual premium on premium finance, provided by Red Apple Finance Ltd, then the following fees and charges will apply.

A late payment fee of £10.00 for each direct debit is not paid on time.


For general insurance we receive a commission from the insurer which is included in the price you pay.


What to do if you have a complaint

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Insurance advising and arranging is covered for up to 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
